Tuesday Evenings at D’Auvergne School Main Hall

Beginners Ballroom A - Waltz, Social Slow Foxtrot, and basic Quickstep (a course of 6 weeks for complete novices, or those who danced some time ago.)

Learn (or remember) to dance simply, around a dance floor, in three different dances, over the course of six lessons.

This course is suitable for complete beginners, who will learn to dance the Waltz, the Social Slow Foxtrot and finally, a basic Quickstep

Starts Tuesday 7.00pm to 7.55pm, from April 14th to May 19th, 2026 (Inclusive)

Level 2 Waltz and Quickstep

Follows on from attendance at Beginners level.

During the course we will develop the Waltz figures and teach additional figures in order to extend and improve your dancing. We enhance the basic Quickstep to give better technique in the dance, and add further figures to your routine.

Thursday Evenings at D’Auvergne School Main Hall

Beginners Latin American A - Cha, Cha, Cha, Rumba, and a little Jive.

On this course, suitable for complete beginners, we teach a simple but fun Cha, Cha, Cha routine which is then developed into a more able beginner’s routine.  The Rumba is introduced to develop hip action, using similar figures to the Cha. Finally, a short Jive routine is taught, to give the flavour of the dance.

Starts Thursday 7.00pm from April 16th to May 21st, 2026 (inclusive).

New Improver's Latin American A - Cha, Cha,Cha and Rumba

This course starts with the recovery of your basic steps, and aims to improve your Beginners Cha Cha Cha and Rumba style and technique, adding a few more figures to your routine. Attendance is required as preparation for entrance into the Bronze Medal Award classes.

Starts Thursday 8.00pm from April 16th to May 21st, 2026 (inclusive).
